TUBULAR HANDRAIL SYSTEM

Our Tubular Handrail System is simple to use and quick to install.  All you need on site is a hacksaw and a drill.  Fixing can be either bolts (supplied if required) or rivets.  50mm diameter tube is available in 6m lengths.

The tube has been tested to British Standards and is suitable for use as a handrail or barrier.

TUBE JOINER

Use tube joiner where you need to join lengths of tube which do not coincide with a natural joint. Tubes can be joined at intersections with Tee Pieces and 2 Socket Cross.

TEE PIECE

Use the Tee Piece where tubes meet the top rail and also the side rails at the end of a run.

90 deg ELBOW

Use the 90 degree elbow where you need to change directions at right angles.  For all other angles use the flexible elbow as shown below. Cost

SIDE FITTING

Use side fittings where you are unable to bolt directly to a solid top surface but side fitting is available. The fittings have holes for anchor bolts.

2 SOCKET CROSS

Use the 2 socket cross where tubes cross each other at 90 degrees. See pictures below.

BASE SUPPORT

Use the base support for bolting down handrails to a solid top surface. 50mm diameter tube drops into the support base where it can then be bolted or riveted to it.

FLEXIBLE ELBOW

Use the flexible elbow where you need to change directions to any angle. This fitting is extremely versatile and is most useful on stairway handrails.
